Thrift Store Clothing

11/25/2013 by D. Cammarota

Used clothing stores have come a long way in the past couple of decades. With the start of websites like Ebay, Craigslist and other resale shops online, both the supply and demand of secondhand clothing has soared. The expense of keeping up with the clothing needs of growing children and the soaring expense of designer clothes has prompted many consumers to keep an eye out for local thrift stores or a reliable online thrift store for gently used secondhand clothing.

Online thrift store clothes can be found with a basic search. Entering "used clothing stores" with your zip code will get you to a local thrift store and searching for clothing from an online thrift store is as easy as entering "online thrift store clothes." The best sites will have clear photos and descriptions and be very clear about things like return or refund policies. Paying through PayPal adds an added layer of protection if you are not sure of the online thrift store you are shopping with.

If you prefer to shop in person and try things on, there are surely plenty of used clothing stores in your neighborhood. Many thrift stores are attached to a charity, so if you wish to contribute in some way to a worthy cause, be sure to look for charitable shops.
